Making a Difference: Pure spring water is essential in the production of Single Malt Scotch Whisky, which is why the preservation of our waterways is so important to Glenfiddich. We are proud to support the ongoing coldwater conservation efforts across the country by donating to Trout Unlimited Canada's Coldwater Conservation Fund.

Why Coldwater Conservation? Canada's freshwater resources are known the world over for their abundance, their quality and the remarkable fish species that are found within. These resources, however, are under various pressures: habitat degradation and loss, industrial and municipal practices and overfishing are but a few of the concerns threatening Canada's waters.

Current Coldwater Projects: Atlantic salmon restoration in Lake Ontario (ON), Mervart property stream channel restoration project (ON), WeCARE – West Credit River appreciation, rehabilitation and enhancement (ON), Cottonwood riparian zone enhancement project (AB), Geomorphology, Hydrology and Aquatic Habitat of Small Foothills Streams (AB), River Watch (NS).
